When you watch these simulations, you understand, if you didn’t already, that incarcerated people are not safe at all inside Michigan prisons. In spite of the claims by MDOC that they are following CDC guidelines, it is clear they are not even close to meeting the CDC guidelines. They just keep repeating the lies.
-Social Distancing is impossible. Many inside live and sleep in small ~ 8 x 10 foot cubes with 6-8 other humans.
-Provided masks are poorly made, of a low quality material, single layer and do not fit properly.
-Solution provided to clean and disinfect is mostly water.
