*Scabies Update – Parnall A North unit needs help!

Unit A North was the first unit identified.  And is being treated differently than the rest of the compound.  It was the first unit to be quarantined.
They were made to pack up everything, including hygiene products, coffee and food.
They were left with one set of clothes and then some were washed and brought back and swapped.
Some property that was missed was thrown away since they put all this unit’s property on a truck that was gone. So for example my lo forgot his new pair of shoes under his bed, being honest he told them and they took them and said they would be thrown away because the truck was gone.
The worst thing right now is they have none of their food, coffee or hygiene products.
They were given tiny sample size toothpaste and shampoo and that is long gone, and a travel toothbrush. Store is being delivered tomorrow morning. But they are afraid they won’t get it.
This unit was first treated last week on Tuesday with Ivermectin. But they are out of hygiene and some of them have such dry skin due to the rash, and winter in general that they are itching like crazy and need their lotion. My lo’s scalp is about to peel off since he needs to use his hair conditioner that was taken. The water is extremely hard.
They don’t have any of their own food, and no coffee, and they are about to be crazy about it.
The laundry that was washed was returned damp, so not really properly cleaned since it needs hot water and hot dryer.
When they decided to treat compound wide, they did not do the same thing to the other guys.
They are all still going to chow together, so my lo knows the rest of the compound has their own hygiene and food and coffee.
So why is A north so restricted and especially since they were already treated once and will be treated again on Tuesday with the Ivermectin pills.
Scabies does not live on a shampoo bottle or package of ramen noodles!
