It’s past the power of my words to express my experiences of being convicted and sentenced into enforced servitude and hard labor.
Systematically it is clear that our founding fathers had been crystal gazing into the future and in their deceitful foresights they never really intended to break the chains of ritual traditions, built off of torture, deaf, and blood, sweat, and tears of black men, women, or children’s.
Nor did our founding fathers intend to take away profitability for cheap labor and they clearly did not take away the servitude for punishment of crimes.
Apparently, our founding fathers were hand shaking and back slapping when they delivered birth to the 13th Amendment that mandated servitude as a punishment for crimes.
The Michigan Department of Corrections is guilty of having their hands in the servitude jars as well as contracting and selling cheap prisoners labor to outside private companies for decades.
Prison officials have skimmed and collected millions in kickbacks as well as private companies have made extraordinary fat profits from the State imprisoned labor force.
When convicted and sentenced to the Michigan Department of Corrections, prisoners shall enter the labor force as punishment for their crime and they will be classified to a ball and chain detail.
If a prisoner has a certificate he will be assigned as an institutional need position, but if the certificate is from the outside that certificate is considered as garbage and rejected.
As a matter of fact all in house prisoners must work for the State of Michigan including those deemed infirm or on medical light work details, canes, walkers and in wheelchairs.
Some low paying jobs are refused by some, and those rebelling prisoners are whipped into submission with being “OO” for16 hours a day as well as lost privilege’s and housing restrictions.
Furthermore Michigan Parole Board decisions are based on a prisoner work reports and a job to them shows them rehabilitation.
Also a prisoners security levels and placements is based off of a work report.
Michigan prisoners are forced to work on holidays without holiday pay, and the old school work bonus and paid vacations has been taken away as well as there been no job pay raises for decades.
If a prisoner has been injured on the job, there’s no compensation, nor any relief, other than a foot-to-mouth termination or reassignment to an even more demeaning job.
The wheel that Squeak’s the loudest get the most oil.
